With decades of collective experience in urban planning, housing policy, finance, governance, and community development, our board brings the expertise and vision needed to guide NBCLTC’s mission.

Jody Kliffer
Jody is the Real Estate and Development manager for Envision Saint John, which is the growth organization for the Saint John, NB region. Jody is an urban planner by training who has been working in various community-building roles for 15 years. His area of greatest involvement and research has been housing where Jody has worked for the not-for-profit sector as well as in his current role in the public sector.

Kit Hickey
Kit Hickey has over 42 years of housing experience and has spent her career advocating for affordable housing. She is the Executive Director at Housing Alternatives Inc. Kit is qualified in all aspects of management including human resource management, accounting, business planning, government relations and development. She is the past President of the New Brunswick Non-Profit Housing Association, Secretary/Treasurer of the board of The ONE Change Inc., and is the Board Secretary of the Housing Hub of New Brunswick.

Narinder Singh
Narinder Singh is an accomplished professional with a strong foundation in both engineering and finance. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering and is a Certified Professional Accountant. Narinder has seamlessly integrated his engineering and accounting expertise to excel in his career. Since 1995, Narinder has served as the General Manager of Saint John Non-Profit Housing. In this role, he has demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills, contributing significantly to the organization's growth and success. His tenure at Saint John Non-Profit Housing has been marked by a steadfast commitment to providing quality, affordable housing solutions to the community.

Greg Forestell
With over 33 years in the not for profit and public administration sector, Greg is the Vice President of Housing NB. He is an experienced leader in government relations, policy and program development, finance administration and organizational development. He combines a positive attitude, and an energetic, results-oriented leadership style with strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead and develop high functioning teams. Greg and his family live in Quispamsis, NB.

Peter Corbyn
Peter has been a leader in energy efficiency and sustainability since the early 1990s. He launched Ontario's first Employee Energy Awareness Program at Woodbridge Foam Corporation. As Environment Director at the Canadian Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association, he advised on environmental issues and co-established a program for ISO 14001 implementation. Peter co-founded GreenNexxus, known for pioneering sustainability web programs. He also co-founded The Climate Reality Project Canada and received the Canadian National Clean Air Day Award in 2007. Recently, Peter has focused on affordable housing in New Brunswick and serves as Executive Director of the New Brunswick Non-Profit Housing Association. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick and resides in Fredericton with his family.

John Mackenzie
Deputy Mayor John MacKenzie was first elected to Saint John Common Council in May of 2012, was re-elected in 2016, and again in 2021. He lives in the City’s North End. As an employee of Canada Post for 38 years, John knows his neighbourhoods. He currently serves on the Fundy Regional Service Commission as Saint John’s representative, Chairs the Community Development Committee for the FRSC, Chairs the Growth Committee for the city of Saint John, and sits on the Community Council on Homelessness. John has also served as Chair of the District Education Council in education governance and is a former board member of both PRO Kids, Saint John Police Commission and Saint John Energy. John’s areas of interest are in poverty reduction, community policing, neighborhood revitalization, homelessness, and housing shortages, as well as economic development.
