Thank you to a founding board member!

This spring, we said farewell to one of our founding Board Members, Leona, who stepped down from her role. Leona brought deep expertise, thoughtful insight, and unwavering dedication to our co-op. Her contributions helped shape the strong foundation we stand on today.

Leona’s career has been rooted in the non-profit and co-operative housing sectors, including work with CMHC. She has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada, the New Brunswick Non-Profit Housing Association, Housing Alternatives, and Rehabitat. She is a founding member of both the Saint John Land Bank and the New Brunswick Community Land Trust Co-operative.
